The RPM 5 pod kit from SMOK is a wonderful step into more advanced vaping that offers all the simplicity and satisfaction of a pod. It’s powered by a built-in 2000mAh battery that’ll comfortably last you all day and can fire between 5 and 80 watts, giving you the room to experiment with power levels too. When you get low on charge, you can plug in with the included Type-C cable to get your kit back to full power even faster. This durable and compact little kit is constructed from zinc alloy materials and measures in at 122.5mm in length and 31mm wide, making it a portable option for taking on the go. It’s an intuitive to use kit and has a bright 0.96 inch TFT display screen which shows all your important vaping details including the wattage level you’ve set, your coil resistance, battery life remaining as well as a puff counter and timer. The chipset has intelligent pod detection that picks up the resistance of your coil automatically, short circuit protection to keep your vape safe to use and an 8 second firing cutoff to prevent accidental overheating or misfires while it’s in your pocket. It can also fire with resistance levels ranging from as little as 0.1ohm through to 2.5ohms and is compatible with the RPM coil range, giving you a wide selection of resistance levels to choose from. To refine your vaping experience even further, there’s an adjustable airflow toggle below the pod that you can leave open for a loose, direct to lung inhale or close it down for a more restricted mouth to lung inhale.

The pods themselves have replaceable coils, giving you more choice when it comes to your coil resistance. When you notice a drop in flavour or vapour production, you just click the pod out of the vape and pull the old coil out before pressing a new one into place. They fit securely into the kit with a powerful magnet for a rattle free connection. To refill, just slide open the top to expose the fill port and top up with your favourite e-liquid.
